Choose a populated public venue, tell someone you trust where you are going, and keep control of your own transportation.
FindADate is developing trusted-contact sharing so users can share date time, location and profile details with someone they choose.
Trust your judgment. You can leave at any time. Keep personal belongings and drinks in your control, avoid sharing unnecessary home/work details early, and do not feel obligated to continue a date because someone paid or traveled.
Blocking and reporting are core safety features in the app. For urgent platform safety concerns, email safety@gottafindadate.com. Preserve relevant messages/screenshots when it is safe to do so.
Mobile verification adds friction for fake accounts but does not prove that every statement on a profile is true or guarantee a person's conduct. Optional identity/profile verification features may be added as the product matures.
Consent must be freely given and can be withdrawn at any time. Matching, messaging, accepting a date, paying for a date or prior intimacy never creates an obligation to engage in sexual activity.
Harassment, threats, stalking, hate-based abuse, impersonation, scams, sexual exploitation and attempts to evade safety enforcement are prohibited. See the Community Guidelines.
