1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these terms to use FindADate. By creating an account, you represent that the information you provide is truthful and that you are using the service for lawful personal dating purposes.
2. Account security
You are responsible for protecting your login credentials, device and verification codes. Do not share one-time codes with anyone. You must notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.
3. Acceptable use
You may not use FindADate to harass, threaten, stalk, exploit, impersonate or defraud another person; solicit illegal activity; distribute malware; spam users; scrape data; evade safety controls; or create deceptive or duplicate accounts.
4. Dating and in-person meetings
Meeting another person carries inherent risks. We recommend meeting in public, telling someone you trust where you are going, maintaining control of your own transportation and leaving any situation that feels unsafe. FindADate is not an emergency service. Call local emergency services if you are in immediate danger.
5. User content
You retain ownership of content you submit, but grant FindADate a limited license to host, display, process and transmit it as needed to operate the service. You must have the rights necessary to upload any photo or other content you provide.
6. Communications
By requesting a mobile verification code, you consent to receive transactional SMS messages associated with account verification and security. See our SMS Terms. Marketing consent, if ever offered, will be requested separately and is not a condition of using core account-verification features.
7. Paid features
FindADate may offer subscriptions or other paid features in the future. Pricing, renewal terms and cancellation information will be presented before purchase. Platform billing rules may also apply.
8. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to enforce these terms, protect users, prevent fraud or comply with law. Users may also stop using the service and request account deletion subject to applicable retention requirements.
9. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, FindADate is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant uninterrupted operation or the accuracy, identity, intentions or behavior of other users or third-party venues.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, FindADate and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from use of the service or interactions with other users. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so these limitations may not apply to you.
11. Changes
We may update these terms as the service changes. Material updates will be communicated as required by law.
